        B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., એન્જિનિયરિંગ જેમ કોર્ષ ટ્રેડિશનલ કોર્ષ કેટેગરીમાં આવે છે. આ કોર્ષમાં વધુ તો ક્લાસ રૂમ ટીચિંગ મોડેલને ફોલો કરે છે. સ્ટુડન્ટસને  સબ્જેક્ટ્સ જ્ઞાન, થિઓરી અને કેસ સ્ટડીના રૂપમાં માહિતી આપવામાં આવે છે. તેમણે પ્રેક્ટિકલ નૉલજ ફક્ત ઇન્ટર્નશિપ કે દરમિયાન પણ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે. થિઓરી નૉલેજથી સ્ટૂડેન્ટ્સ ને ઇન્ટર્નશિપના સમયાંતરે પ્રેક્ટિકલ નું નૉલેજ મેળવવામાં ખૂબ જ કંફ્યુજન થાય છે. કેમ કે થિઓરી જ હોય છે અને પ્રેક્ટિકલ નૉલેજ હોતું નથી.

        ટ્રેડિશનલ કોર્ષને પૂર્ણ કરવામાં વોકેશનલ કોર્ષથી વધુ સમય લાગે છે. આ કોર્ષ તમે આપે છે.વોકેશનલ કોર્ષ એ ટ્રેડિશનલ કોર્ષથી  વિપરીત છે વોકેશનલ કોર્ષ. વોકેશનલ કોર્ષમાં  સ્ટુડન્ટ્સને સ્પસેસફિક (વિશિષ્ટ) ફીલ્ડની પ્રેક્ટિકલ તાલીમ આપવામાં આવે છે. સાથે સ્ટુડન્ટ પ્રેક્ટિકલ સ્કિલ ને ડેવલોપ કરી શકે. વોકેશનલ કોર્ષમાં સ્ટુડન્ટ્સ ઓન સાઇડ એક્સપીરિયંસ કરી શકે છે. આ કોર્ષમાં જ્યારે સ્ટુડન્ટ્સ કમ્પલીટ કરી લે છે તેના પછી તે જૉબ માટે સંપૂર્ણ રીતે તૈયાર થઈ જાય છે. તેને જોબ સરળતાથી તેમના ફિલ્ડમાં મળે છે. વોકેશનલ કોર્ષ કો કંપ્લીટીંગ માં ટ્રેડિશનલ કોર્ષથી ઓછો સમય લાગે છે. આ કોર્ષને કર્યા પછી તમે સર્ટીફિકેટ અથવા ડિપ્લોમા સર્ટિફિકેટ મેળવી શકો છો. મોટાભાગે આ રીતે કોર્ષ કરવા માટે હાઈસ્કૂલ પાસ હોવું જરૂરી છે. અંગ્રેજી અને ગણીતનુ સામાન્ય જ્ઞાન હોવું જરૂરી છે. આમાં ઘણા કોર્ષ એવા હોય છે જેમાં ઓછું ભણેલા લોકો પણ કરી શકે છે.

      The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched a scheme on skills development based higher education as part of college/university education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree with multiple exits such as Diploma/Advanced Diploma under the NSQF. The B.Voc. programme is focused on universities and colleges providing undergraduate studies which would also incorporate specific job roles and their NOSs along with broad based general education. This would enable the graduates completing B.Voc. to make a meaningful participation in accelerating India’s economy by gaining appropriate employment, becoming entrepreneurs and creating appropriate knowledge.

 

Objectives

To provide judicious mix of skills relating to a profession and appropriate content of General Education.
To ensure that the students have adequate knowledge and skills, so that they are work ready at eachexit point of the programme.
To provide flexibility to the students by means of pre-defined entry and multiple exit points.
To integrate NSQF within the undergraduate level of higher education in order to enhance employability of the graduates and meet industry requirements. Such graduates apart from meeting the needs of local and national industry are also expected to be equipped to become part of the global workforce.

The certification levels will lead to Diploma/Advanced Diploma/B. Voc. Degree in one or more vocational areas and will be offered under the aegis of the University. This is out-lined in.
